About this word search
Easter falls in autumn here, often with cool mornings and a long weekend that leaves time for a slow family puzzle. Most of these ten words are names of animals, and young children usually know Hen, Duck and Chick well before they can read them.
Choose a word, put your finger under its opening letter and say that sound together, then move a finger to the right or straight down. Every word lies one of those two ways. Bilby may be new, so look at a picture of this little native animal with its big ears before you start searching.
When all ten are circled, hide a few paper eggs around the house with one word written on each.
