About this word search

Egg rolling is an old spring game in which children push hard-boiled eggs down a slope or across a lawn. In the United States it is best known from the White House, where an Easter Egg Roll is held on the lawn on the Monday after Easter.

Marzipan has the rare Z, and Hyacinth puts a Y and a C close together. Begin with those and with the longest entries, such as Wicker basket and Chocolate egg, which are written without a space and can sit in any of the eight directions. Clues is short and easy to overlook, so save it for last.

For older students, a quick follow-up is to split the list into what you can eat and what you cannot. Easter grass usually ends up in the wrong pile.
