About this word search

Maple is the tree behind many of the brightest red leaves in New England, while Sycamore is easy to recognize by its bark, which peels away in patches. Hibernation and Migration describe the two ways many animals deal with the cold months ahead.

With words in all eight directions, long entries such as Hibernation and Hot chocolate are a sensible place to begin. The ZZ in Drizzle is one of the quickest spots in the grid. Corn maze and Apple picking are written without a space.

Older students can sort the list by month, deciding which words belong to October and which feel more like November.
