About this word search

Lovebirds are real birds, small parrots from Africa that often sit pressed close together in pairs, which is where the name comes from. Next to them on this list are older words for affection such as Darling and Sweetheart, and modern ones like Sticker and Glitter.

The eighteen by eighteen grid lets words run in all eight directions, backward ones included. Secret admirer is the longest at thirteen letters, written as one unbroken string. February has an uncommon F and B close together. Chocolates and Candlelight share several letters and can trick the eye.

On February 14 this can sit on the table at a family dinner, or in a middle school classroom as a calm start to a busy day.
