About this word search
Musical chairs, the treasure hunt and the magician belong to the party games many adults remember from their own childhood. Sleepover and Face paint bring the list closer to what older kids ask for today.
Words can head off in any of eight directions, so lean on the double letters. Look first for the PP in Happy birthday, Wrapping paper and Party popper, then for the C at the start of Cupcake, Celebration and Candles. Treasure hunt and Musical chairs are long and written without a space.
Older kids at a party can work in pairs, one reading words aloud while the other searches, and switch halfway through.
