About this word search

A tide pool is one of the small pools of seawater left behind on rocky shores at low tide. Crabs, snails and sea stars are often found in them, which makes them a favorite stop on a summer beach walk.

This grid uses all eight directions, with backward and diagonal words mixed in. Start with Paddleboard and Picnic blanket, long words that are hard to hide. Then look for the K in Kiddie pool and the W in Swimsuit, Heatwave and Water fight.

Teenagers on a summer vacation can turn the found words into a postcard home, using at least five of them in a few sentences about the trip.
