About this word search
Llama has a double L, and Zebra starts with a Z, a letter young children love to find. Those two make easy first targets before you move on to Lion, Bear and the rest.
Every word in this ten-square grid sits in a row reading right or in a column reading down. Say each animal name out loud and let your child guess the first letter before looking at the list.
Back home, let your child pick one animal and draw it, with the name copied underneath. A Camel with its humps or a Panda chewing bamboo makes a fine picture for the fridge.
