About this word search
Rex is Latin for king, which is how the biggest meat eater got the name Tyrannosaurus rex. Your child does not need to read that long name to enjoy this puzzle. The ten words here are short, and most of them are things a dinosaur has, like a Tail, a Horn or Teeth.
Words line up only to the right or downward in the small grid. Roar is a fun one to find, so save it for last and let your child shout it when it turns up.
Then play a quick game: you say a word from the list, and your child acts it out by swishing a Tail, curling fingers into a Claw or giving a big Rex roar.
