About this word search
Tree is a good first word, because the double E at the end catches the eye. Moss has a double letter too. Start with those two and your child will have two quick successes before tackling Fox, Owl and Log.
In this small grid each word goes right or down, never on a slant and never backwards. Point to the first letter, then read the next one together, and keep going until the word is complete.
On a walk in the woods afterward, collect a Leaf and a Nut, step over a Log and listen for a Bird. Back home, lay the things you found next to the sheet and match each one to its word.
