About this word search

Cornucopia comes from Latin and means horn of plenty, the overflowing basket of fruit and grain that shows up on many Thanksgiving tables and cards. The Harvest moon is the full moon closest to the September equinox, and it often rises big and orange just as the fields are being cleared.

Mashed potatoes and Cranberry sauce are among the longest entries here, at fourteen letters each without their spaces. With reversed and slanted words allowed, those long ones are worth finding first, since they cross many squares and leave fewer places for the rest to hide. Pecan pie and Pumpkin pie both end in PIE, so check which one you are following.

Keep a copy on the counter for the hour while the turkey rests and the gravy needs stirring.
