About this word search

Vancouver has held a Polar Bear Swim at English Bay on New Year's Day since 1920, and many other towns across the country now have their own icy dip. Auld Lang Syne, also on the list, is a Scots song written down by Robert Burns. The title means something like old long since, or days gone by.

Auld Lang Syne and Polar bear swim run as single strings of letters, without their spaces. Start with them, then look for the J in Journal and the K in Karaoke. Any word may read backwards or on a slant in this big grid, so give each starting letter a full look in all eight directions.

This puzzle works well for the slow hours on January 1, when the house is quiet and nobody has plans.
