About this word search
Red and pink are the colours of the day, and both are in this word list, so it is easy to turn the puzzle into a colouring page afterwards. In kindergarten, Valentine's Day is often spent making cards for classmates, and Card, Heart and Friend are words children will want to write on them.
All ten words run straight across or straight down in a small grid. Start with Red and Hug, since three letters are quick to find, then move on to longer ones like Friend. Read each word aloud as it is circled, and let your child repeat it.
When everything is found, colour the word Heart in red, the word Love in pink, and let your child choose colours for the rest.
