About this word search
Pink and Red are color words, and for many young children they are among the first they learn to read. Starting with those two gives a quick success, and the rest of the list, from Hug to Gift, follows easily.
Read the ten words out loud before searching. Then hunt for each one by its first letter and run a finger right or down, the only two directions used. Kiss has a double S at the end, which makes it easier to confirm.
When the puzzle is finished, a child can make a card for someone at home, using two or three of the words they just found.
