About this word search
Young children usually love Valentine's Day for the colours and the cards rather than anything romantic. This list keeps it that way, with Pink, Red, Hug and Friend next to Heart and Rose.
Before searching, point to each word on the list and read it together. Then hunt for the first letter, H for Heart for instance, and slide a finger to the right or down to check. Every word goes only in those two directions. Kiss ends with a double S, a handy thing to look out for.
Afterwards, children can colour in a heart for each word they found, or make a small card for a friend and copy one of the words onto the front.
