About this word search

Lovebirds are small parrots from Africa that tend to stay with one partner, which is how they ended up as a symbol of the day. The rest of this list leans towards kindness more than candlelit dinners: Compliment, Caring and Friendship sit right next to Romance and Sweetheart.

February is one of the most often misspelled words in English, because so many people drop the first r when they say it. Searching for it letter by letter in an eighteen by eighteen grid is a good way to fix the spelling in your memory. Words may run in any of eight directions, backwards included. Secret admirer is the longest entry and makes a good anchor.

In class, follow the puzzle by having each student write a sincere compliment for the person sitting next to them.
