About this word search
Little ones often come back from an autumn walk with full pockets, and three of these words, Leaf, Acorn and Apple, might well be in there. Owl and Kite add something to look for in the sky.
Every word goes across from left to right or straight down from top to bottom. Read the list together, then choose one word at a time. For Kite, find a K, then look for an I to its right or directly below. Fog and Owl are short and quick to find.
Afterwards, lay real leaves out on the table and sort them by colour, then see whether brown really is the most common.
