About this word search

Long johns, Earmuffs and the Comforter are all about staying warm, while Black ice and Sleet are the reasons to stay inside. Salt truck and Snowplow are familiar to anyone who lives where the roads freeze.

All eight directions are used. Snowball fight is the longest and runs as one block of letters without a space. Look for the X in Arctic fox, the only one in the list, and the Z in Blizzard, which has two.

After the solstice, around December 21, daylight slowly starts to come back, a small piece of good news to share once that word turns up in the grid.
