The languages

The same journey, different words

Fifteen languages at launch, with twenty stamps to collect. Each language has its own path, its own words and its own color on the board, while your menu language stays just the way you like it.

Twenty stamps

Every language has its own letter

IJ for Dutch, ß for German, Ø for Norwegian: every stamp features the letter that makes its language instantly recognizable, in the signature color that also brightens the board.

Learning view

Search in a language you’re still learning

When you play in a language other than your menu language, the word list shows the translation alongside it. You search in Spanish and read in Dutch, all in one smooth motion.

  • Your menu language stays yours

The app language and puzzle language are separate. Play a Spanish board with a Dutch menu, or the other way around. The app language stays the same.

  • Every word comes with a translation

When you play in a language other than your own, each word is followed by its translation in parentheses. It’s not a language course, but the words have a way of sticking with you.

  • Your streak travels with you

Sparky cares about the day, not the language. One daily puzzle in any language keeps your streak going.

  • A unique path for every language

It’s not just the Dutch path translated. Every language has its own words, topics, and board color.

The language passport

An album that fills up as you play

Play a puzzle in a new language and you’ll add its stamp to your passport. No purchase, no reward chest. Just a page that fills up as your journey continues.
