About this word search

Flying fox has two meanings in Australia. In a playground it is a cable ride you hang from as you zip from one end to the other, and in the bush it is a large fruit bat. Cubby house is another local word, used here for the backyard hideaway other countries might call a playhouse.

Playground words here can tumble backwards, climb upwards or cartwheel along a diagonal. Merry-go-round loses its hyphens, so search for MERRYGOROUND. Wheelbarrow race and Obstacle course are the longest entries. The K in Monkey bars and Mud kitchen and the double D in Paddling pool are good starting points.

For a school holiday program, the list doubles as a checklist of things to try over the break.
