Herbs and spices, extra hard

Give it a try: drag a line across the letters.

About this word search

Mace and nutmeg come from the same fruit. Nutmeg is the seed, and Mace is the red, lacy coat wrapped around it. Juniper gives gin its flavour, and a Chipotle is a jalapeño that has been smoked and dried.

Several entries are blends rather than single spices. Ras el hanout translates roughly as head of the shop, the best mix a spice merchant had to offer, and Garam masala and Five spice vary from kitchen to kitchen in much the same way.

This grid is eighteen squares wide and words may run backwards. SICHUANPEPPER, at thirteen letters, is a good opening find. Mace and Sumac are short, and the Y in Caraway or Cayenne is one of the rarer letters to hunt for.
