About this word search

Michelangelo painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel as a Fresco, laying colour onto wet plaster, and the work took him about four years. Hogarth reached a much wider public in eighteenth-century London through printed series such as A Rake's Progress, sold as engravings rather than as a single canvas.

The list also follows the movements, from the Renaissance and the Baroque to Impressionism and Pointillism, which builds a whole picture out of small dots of colour.

In this larger grid a word can run in any of eight directions, reversed ones included. Accents disappear, so Cézanne and Dalí are spelled CEZANNE and DALI. Self-portrait loses its hyphen and becomes SELFPORTRAIT, and Frida Kahlo turns into FRIDAKAHLO.
