About this word search

Shakespeare wrote 154 sonnets alongside his plays, and Chaucer opened The Canterbury Tales with a long Prologue introducing the pilgrims. George Orwell was the pen name of Eric Blair.

The literary terms are a quiz in themselves. A Limerick has five lines and was made famous by Edward Lear, Alliteration repeats opening sounds, and the Booker Prize has been awarded since 1969.

Words run in every direction in this grid, backwards too. ALLITERATION and SHAKESPEARE are long enough to find early. Brontë loses its accent and becomes BRONTE, and Epic is short enough to slip past unnoticed.
