About this word search
Small words fit small creatures. Ant, Bee, Fly, Bug, Egg and Leg are all three letters, so a child who can sound out short words can find most of this list.
Every word runs left to right or top to bottom. Begin by reading the list aloud and looking at a picture of each insect. Then find the first letter, put a finger on it and slide right or down. Moth, Wasp, Flea and Wing have four letters and may need a little help.
Afterwards, go outside with a magnifying glass and see which of the ten you can spot. A leg or a wing counts.
