About this word search
Many classrooms for young children have a weather chart, and these ten words often appear on it: Sun, Rain, Wind, Snow and Cloud, plus Hot, Cold and Wet.
Each weather word lies flat across a row or hangs straight down a column. Sun, Fog, Hot, Wet and Ice are three letters each, good for a first try. Cloud is the longest. Read each word aloud, then find its first letter and follow it.
Afterwards, look outside and choose the words that fit today. Over a week, draw the weather each morning using only the ten words.
