About this word search
Rose, Lily, Daisy and Iris are also girls' names, which young children often find funny when they notice it. That can be a nice way into the list before the search starts.
The flowers only grow rightwards or downwards in this grid, so find the first letter and follow with a finger. Bee is the odd one out on the list, a visitor to the flowers rather than a flower itself, so ask your child to spot it.
Afterwards, pick a flower from the garden or a park and match it to a word, or plant a seed in a pot and watch the Stem and Leaf appear.
