About this word search
Young dinosaur fans often know a surprising amount, even before they can read. This list sticks to short words they can sound out, such as Dino, Egg, Bone and Roar, along with a few body parts: Claw, Tail, Teeth and Horn.
Every word reads left to right or top to bottom. Begin with Rex and Egg, which are three letters. Show your child how to find the first letter and slide along. Teeth has a double E, which makes a good clue.
Afterwards, draw a dinosaur together and label it with words from the list: a horn on the head, teeth in the mouth, a claw on each foot and a long tail.
