About this word search
Jurassic is named after the Jura Mountains on the border of France and Switzerland, where rocks from that period were studied early on. Stegosaurus and Diplodocus both lived in the Jurassic, while Triceratops came much later, in the Cretaceous.
This is the in-between version: fourteen squares a side, words across, down and on the diagonal, nothing reversed. Pterodactyl starts with a silent P, which is worth pointing out before the search. Dig, Egg and Tail are short.
For a follow-up, divide the words into dinosaurs, body parts and the work of finding them, with Fossil, Museum and Dig in the last group.
