About this word search
Feeding the ducks is often one of a young child's first nature outings, and Duck and Swan are both here. Robin is a bird many children recognise from Christmas cards.
Read the list together and say which ones you have seen. Then search one word at a time. The words go only to the right or straight down, so start at the first letter and follow it. Hen, Egg and Owl are three letters long, a good size for a first find.
Afterwards, hang a simple bird feeder near a window and see which of the birds on the list come to visit.
