About this word search

Ringette is a Canadian invention from the 1960s, a team game on ice played with straight sticks and a rubber ring instead of a puck. It sits on this list beside sports from all over the world, from Taekwondo, a martial art from Korea, to Water polo and Fencing.

On this eighteen by eighteen board, a sport can be spelled backwards, upside down or along any diagonal. Skateboarding and Trampolining are the longest, so begin there. Then try the rare letters: the Q in Squash, the J in Javelin and the K in Karate and Kickball.

Sorting the list into summer and winter sports, or team and solo sports, makes a good follow-up in gym class, and a few entries are sure to spark disagreement.
