About this word search
Ski, Bike and Ball are things a child can point to, while Goal is the place everyone is aiming for. Before you start, talk about which sports on the list they have tried, at recess, at swimming lessons or on a winter weekend.
The ten sports in this small grid keep to two lanes: one runs like a line of reading, the other drops from the top edge toward the bottom. Golf and Judo may be new words, so explain them before the search. Then help your child spot a first letter and follow the lane.
When all ten are found, hold a mini race in the hallway or the backyard, with a high five at the finish.
