About this word search

Sleeping Beauty and the Spinning wheel belong together, since the curse strikes when the princess pricks her finger on a spindle. The Tin soldier comes from Hans Christian Andersen of Denmark, who also wrote the story of the little Mermaid. Older readers will spot many more links between the words on this list.

Every direction is open here, backwards and slanted included, across eighteen squares a side. Rumpelstiltskin and Fairy godmother are long enough to find first. Then use rare letters: the Z in Rapunzel, the double P in Glass slipper, the K in Beanstalk and Kingdom.

Older students could list which characters help the hero and which stand in the way, then compare their lists with a classmate.
