About this word search
Run, Swim, Jump and Ski are action words as well as sports, so children can act each one out after finding it. That makes this a lively puzzle for a group.
In the ten by ten grid the words only run from the left edge towards the right or from the top downwards. Ski and Run are three letters and good first finds. Judo has a J that stands out. Read every word aloud before searching.
On sports day, hand it out while children wait for their race, or use it afterwards to talk about which event they liked most.
