About this word search
Many of these ten fruits fit in a lunchbox, which makes this a handy puzzle for the start of the school day. Lime and Lemon both open with the same two letters, so they are worth comparing side by side before the search begins.
Ask your child to read the words with you, then point to the first letter of Fig, the shortest. Follow that row across or that column down until all three letters turn up. That is the only way words are placed in this grid. Peach and Grape take a little longer.
Bring a real piece of fruit to the table and ask your child which word goes with it.
