About this word search
Time is a tricky idea for young children. Words like Day, Night and Morning are easy to feel, while Week, Month and Year take much longer to grasp.
Read the ten words together first. Every word lies along a row or down a column, never on a slant, so follow each row with a finger until you spot the letter you need. June is the only month on the list, and a nice moment to mention that it is winter here.
Afterwards, look at a real clock or the calendar on the fridge and find today's day and month together.
