About this word search
On a clear night away from city lights, the southern sky is crowded with stars, and young children soon want to know what is up there. These ten words give them a place to begin, from Sun and Moon to Rocket and even an Alien.
Read through the list with your child first. Each word goes straight across or straight down, so they can move a finger along every row from the left. Sky and Sun both begin with S, a good chance to compare them.
After the puzzle, step outside after dark and try to find the Moon together.
