About this word search

Draughts is the British name for the game Americans call checkers, and the Space hopper, a large bouncing ball with handles, was a famous craze in Britain in the 1970s. Skittles, Kaleidoscope and Jack-in-the-box add an older feel to the list.

Kaleidoscope comes from Greek words meaning beautiful form and to look, and it was invented by the Scottish scientist David Brewster in the early nineteenth century.

With eighteen squares a side and words in every direction, start with Kaleidoscope and Action figure. The Z in Kazoo and the K in Walkie-talkie stand out.
