About this word search
A list like this spans generations. Grandparents may remember Marbles, Dominoes and the Spinning top, while a Robot or a Board game is more likely in today's toy box.
Rocking horse and Skipping rope are the longest and lose their spaces. Words in this fourteen-square grid lie across, down or on a diagonal, never backwards. The J in Jigsaw and the Y in Yo-yo help.
Afterwards, ask an older relative which toys on the list they had as a child. It makes for a good conversation across generations, and sometimes a box comes down from the loft.
