About this word search
These words describe weather a child can feel as well as see: Hot and Cold on the skin, Wet after a puddle, Wind in their hair. That connection to the senses makes them easier to remember.
Only two directions are used in this grid, straight across and straight down. Begin with the shortest ones, Sun, Fog, Hot, Wet and Ice, which take only a moment to find. Then try Cloud, the longest word, by looking for its C and following it along.
Each morning, pick the word that fits the day and stick it on the fridge. Snow will not come up often in most of Australia, but Hot certainly will in January.
