About this word search
For a young child, a holiday often starts in the back of the car with a long wait. A ten-word puzzle with Car, Map and Boat in it gives them something to do that matches what is happening outside the window.
All ten words run from left to right or from top to bottom. Bag, Car, Sea, Map and Sun are three letters each, which makes them good first finds. Hotel and Beach are the longest. Say each word aloud and let your child run a finger along the row.
When they are done, play a round of I spy using only the words from the list.
