About this word search
Rose, Lily, Iris and Leaf are four letters long, and Tulip, Daisy and Poppy add just one more. A child may already have seen some of these names on seed packets or at a garden centre, which gives them a head start.
All ten flowers in this grid grow in one of two ways: sideways toward the right, or downward from the top. Read the list aloud, then let your child choose a flower and look for its first letter along each row. Once you find it, check beside it and below it.
After the puzzle, push a Seed into a pot of soil together, give it a little water each day and watch for the first Stem over the following weeks.
