About this word search
Young children often know a few countries from holidays, family or football. Spain, Italy, France and Wales are short names that fit nicely in a small grid.
Each name runs straight across from the left or straight down from the top. Scotland and Ireland are the longest. Wales has a W, and Norway and Sweden both have one too, so that letter is worth looking for.
Afterwards, find the ten countries on a map or a globe, and talk about which one is closest to home.
