About this word search
Young children often know transport words from toy cars and picture books. Car, Bus, Van and Jet are three letters each, so they are a good place to start.
The words only run left to right or top to bottom in this ten by ten grid. Train is the longest, at five letters. Ship and Tram both have four. Read each word out loud, then point to its first letter.
At a bus stop or on a train, ask your child to spot each vehicle from the list out of the window.
