About this word search
Europe is a long way from Australia, but young children are often curious about where their family or their favourite food comes from. Ten short country names make a gentle introduction.
Before searching, say each name and find it together on a map or a globe. In the grid every country lies flat along a row or stands straight in a column, so a finger can travel one line at a time. Wales and Spain have five letters each and pop out quickly.
Afterwards, try saying hello in the language of one of the countries.
