About this word search

Here the list moves past counting and into the language of math class: Fraction, Decimal and Percentage, plus the words for the four operations. Percentage comes from the Latin per centum, by the hundred, which is a handy way to remember what it means. A Billion is a thousand million, a number that is easier to write than to picture.

The grid uses all eight directions, reversed words included. The hyphen in Ninety-nine and Forty-two is left out of the grid, which turns each into one long string. Odd, Even and Plus are short by comparison and are best saved for last.

A teacher can turn the finished sheet into a quick quiz by writing one sample problem for each operation word.
