About this word search

This puzzle stretches from Mammoth hunters to the right to vote. Cuneiform, one of the earliest writing systems, came out of Mesopotamia, while Hieroglyphs and Papyrus belong to ancient Egypt. Magna Carta, sealed in England in 1215, helped shape the ideas behind the Constitution of the United States.

Words can be reversed or slanted as well as straight. Archaeologist and Enlightenment are long and make good starting points. Printing press and Steam engine are written without spaces, which makes them stand out once found.

For a history club or a group of retirees who love the past, the list makes a good prompt for a timeline. Put the words in chronological order and see where the disagreements start.
