About this word search

This list reaches back several generations. A Party line was a shared telephone line where neighbors could listen in, and Trading stamps were collected in booklets and exchanged for household goods. Betamax lost the format war to VHS, and the Soda jerk worked behind the counter at the drugstore.

Words appear in all eight directions, reversed ones included. Answering machine and Transistor radio are the longest, written without spaces. Short ones like Pager and Inkwell take longer to track down.

For a reminiscence group or a family afternoon, ask everyone which of these they remember using, and which ones they only know from their grandparents' stories.
