About this word search

This list paints a fuller picture of an American coastline. A Sand dollar is a flat sea urchin, a Jetty is a wall of rock built out into the water, and Tide pools fill with small creatures each time the tide goes out.

Nothing is off limits in this grid: words run forward, backward and along both diagonals. Start with long entries such as Beach umbrella and Oceanfront, written as single strings. Uncommon letters help too, like the K in Snorkel and the W in Driftwood and Seaweed.

Older kids and grown-ups can use the list afterward for a short beach story that includes at least five of the words.
