About this word search
Every Australian child learns to swim between the Flags, and this list fills in the rest of a proper beach day: the Esky full of drinks, an Icy pole from the kiosk, Thongs on hot sand and the Surf club at the end of the track.
Words travel in all eight directions, reversed ones as well. Rip current and Rock pool are printed as single strings. Esky is short, with an uncommon K and Y, so hunt for it once the long words are done.
The Rip current is worth a conversation afterwards. Ask older kids how they would spot one and what they would do if caught, then compare their answers with surf lifesaving advice.
