About this word search

Older students may be starting to bike or walk to school on their own, and this list covers much of what they need to know. A Crossing guard helps at the school entrance, a Booster seat keeps younger kids safe in the car, and a Reflector makes a bike visible at night.

In this grid, words point every way, reversed ones included. Start with the long phrases such as Railroad crossing and Divided highway, which are written without spaces. Curb and Cones, at four and five letters, are easy to overlook.

Before a bike rodeo or safety lesson, students can sort the words into things for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.
