About this word search

Some of these vehicles are everyday sights, and others are rare enough to make a good story. A Rickshaw was originally pulled by a person on foot, and the name comes from Japanese. A Hovercraft rides on a cushion of air, and a Gondola can be a Venetian boat or a cable car cabin, depending on where you are.

In this grid, words travel in all eight directions, and plenty of them are reversed. Container ship and Double-decker are long and appear without spaces or hyphens. Unusual spellings help too: Kayak starts and ends with K, and Yacht hides a silent CH.

Older kids can follow up by ranking the vehicles from slowest to fastest, which usually ends in a lively debate.
